There was no doubt about it: the old merry-go-round horses were tatty at best. Some had scratches, others had scuff marks, a few had gaps in their tails or manes and all of them had chips in their paintwork. Shabby!

Since the age of six, Jessie had longed to be a specialist police dog handler. After only two years in the Yarlborough Police Force, it seemed that her dream was about to come true.
